Celebrate the place “that started it all”… a veritable Chicago landmark!

At the heart of Chicago bars and nightlife, The Lodge Tavern opened its doors in 1957 – before the birth of the singles bar, the disco, or theme bars – and we haven’t changed much over the intervening decades. A concerted effort to maintain the original ambiance is firmly in place.

Out-of-towners, and regulars alike, are always pleased to find the venue as cozy as home with a familiar and friendly staff.

Steeped in fellowship and laughter, The Lodge is a quintessential adult’s playground with 50+ years of rich character soaked into our walls and peanut shells on the floor.
