Pippin’s Tavern has been the quintessential Irish pub on Rush Street for over 35 years.

A great spot for shoppers to rest their weary bones, have a drink and grab a bite from Downtown Dogs (the hot dog joint next door )… and you don’t even have to get up, the bartender will order it for you! Along with shoppers and visitors from nearby hotels, you find the cheerful regular crowd. Never short on stories, these fine folks are sure to spin tales of the real Chicago.

Pippin’s has plenty of cold beers on tap, even more in a bottle, and tons of libations behind the bar, so you’re never short on choices.  They also always have great specials.

But, one of the neatest things about the place is all the celebrity sightings! Lars Ulritch, Bono, Baseball, basketball and football players galore have all visited Pippin’s. Famous people go to famous bars, and Pips has paid it’s dues.
