IT'S THE ONLY PLACE YOU NEED TO BE! When you walk into Mahoney’s you know that you’re in the right place. A person can spend all day and night here. Get there early on Sunday and enjoy brunch coupled with the hot new bloody marry bar. After brunch you can enjoy your favorite sporting event on any one of the zillion plasma screens or the two titanic big screens! Then they bust out the games! Mahoney’s is one of the first pubs to feature Rock Band and they do it up much like any karaoke night, but better. They also have Wii, pool, touch screen games, and Golden Tee. There is just NO SHORTAGE of things to do. Then its dinner time, and Mahoney’s features some of the tastiest entrées around. It’s bar food elevated! After dinner its time to kick off the party, and these guys know how to do it right. State of the art video and audio systems kick in the lights dim, and some tables vanish. Colonel John Mahoney, what a kooky guy! After the American Civil War, John Mahoney formed an army of both Union and Confederate Irishmen with the intent of invading Canada, conquering, and then trading it to the British in exchange for Ireland. Seemed simple enough. He had a three-pronged attack planned on our neighbor to the north, including a staged army in Chicago. U.S. President Johnson blocked arms from reaching Mahoney's troops, but he somehow still managed to sack Niagara Village, Ontario twice! Unarmed! We honor a man with such nerve, and thus he hangs over our bar in a place of prominence. The Mahoney with Cajones!
