(CHICAGO, IL) – The Division Street Entertainment District, the area of Division Street between State and Dearborn, is home to numerous, fine, long-standing drinking establishments, including:  Bootleggers, Butch McGuire’s, Detention, The Snuggery, Primary, She-nannigans House of Beer, The Hangge-Uppe, The Leg Room, The Lodge Tavern, Mother’s Too, McFadden’s, The Original Mother’s, The Hunt Club and PJ Clarke’s.

One of these establishments, Bootleggers, has decided to throw a little party in honor of all the hardworking service industry men and women in the area and give the Most Popular Bartender on the strip bragging rights and a pair of Lollapalooza tickets at the Bootleggers Bartenders Bash. Nominations are now being taken, and on Sunday, July 1st voting opens online at www.RushAndDivision.com, under the Bootleggers page, and it will stay open until July 16th at midnight. The top five bartenders will then be honored at the Bootleggers Bartenders Bash, and the winner will be decided by popular vote and show of support at the event.

Bootleggers Bartenders Bash will take place at Bootleggers, located at 13 West Division, on Sunday, July 22, 2012. The Bash will start at 8pm and won’t stop until 4am.  The Most Popular Bartender will be announced around midnight and win the Lolla tickets and one lucky patron will even win an Apple iPad as well. There will be no cover charge, and $5 4 Rebels Vodka cocktails will be the featured cocktails of the Bash.  Vote early and vote often, the Chicago way, at www.RushAndDivision.com!
